Almantas Maleckas is Assoc. Professor of
Surgery with special interest in the
field of laparoscopic surgery. He was
trained in laparoscopic bariatric surgery
at the Sahlgrenska University hospital,
Gothenburg, Sweden. He is among the first
to perform laparoscopic gastric bypass,
laparoscopic gastrectomies and
laparoscopic-thoracoscopic
esophagectomies in Lithuania and Eastern
Europe.
